Musical Director – Graeme Stevenson
Graeme Stevenson is the 3rd successive generation of his family to have become an organist. He took up his first organist post when he was 12 at St John’s, Dundee. Graeme studied Music at Aberdeen University where he was organ scholar at Kings College. After graduating with a First Class honours degree, he went on to do a Masters degree on the Music for the Mass by Johann Ludwig Krebs, one of JS Bach’s favourite pupils.
Graeme is currently Director of Music at the University of Dundee, where he conducts a number of ensembles, and under his direction, the University Chamber Choir and Bach Consort have recorded CDs. He is also organist and choirmaster at Dundee Parish Church (St Mary’s).
As well as solo recitals throughout Scotland including Inverness, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen, Graeme also accompanies local choral societies for their concerts.
In 2016 he was awarded the LRSM from the ABRSM in organ playing.
